6 New Playoff Evo Cards In NBA 2K23 MyTEAM
NBA 2K23 has added six new playoff evos in My Team mode. The most notable addition is the Dark Matter card versions of several players, including Draymond Green, Desmond Bane, Bam Adebayo, and Mitchell Robinson. Additionally, Emmanuel Quickly and Gabe Vincent also received evo upgrades, but their cards were not as impactful as the other four.
Draymond Green's new Dark Matter card features 30 Hall of Fame badges and improved stats and badges, but his height of 6'7" remains a limitation. Emmanuel Quickly's evo upgrade takes him from a Sapphire card to a Pink Diamond card, which should excite fans of the New York Knicks or Quickly himself, but may not be as impressive for other players. Mitchell Robinson's new Dark Matter card, on the other hand, has the potential to be a top-tier center in the game. At 7'1" with a 7'2" wingspan, Robinson has a 72 three-ball and is an elite defender with high block, interior defense, and steal ratings, as well as 93 speed and acceleration.
Gabe Vincent's upgrade takes him from a Ruby to a Diamond, and then to a Pink Diamond, but he remains a limited player due to his size and inability to dunk. Bam Adebayo's new Dark Matter card is a solid power forward option, with better dribble sticks and dunk packages than before. However, his stats and overall performance may not make him a top 10 power forward in the game.
Desmond Bane's Dark Matter card is the final addition, and while not as impressive as some of the other cards on the list, it still adds value to the game. Overall, the addition of these six playoff evos adds depth to My Team mode, and gives players more options and variety in their lineups.
One of the most exciting additions is Mitchell Robinson's new Dark Matter card. Robinson was already a popular player in the game due to his elite defense and athleticism, but his lack of shooting ability limited his impact. However, with his new three-ball rating of 72, Robinson can now shoot from outside with some consistency, making him a much more well-rounded player. Additionally, Robinson's improved dribble sigs make him a more versatile player on the offensive end, giving players more options when using him in pick and roll situations.
Another interesting addition is Desmond Bane's Dark Matter card. While not as impressive as some of the other cards on the list, Bane is still a valuable addition to the game. His three-ball rating jumps to 96, and he also gets a boost in his speed and acceleration. Bane's overall offensive game is solid, and he can be a reliable scorer from beyond the arc.
Draymond Green's new Dark Matter card is also noteworthy, although it may not be as impactful as some of the other cards. Green has always been a solid defender and playmaker in the game, but his lack of shooting ability limited his offensive impact. With his new card, Green gets a boost in his shooting ability, including a three-ball rating of 90. While he still may not be a top-tier player, his new card is certainly an improvement over his previous versions.
Emmanuel Quickly and Gabe Vincent's evo upgrades may not be as exciting as the Dark Matter cards, but they still add some value to the game. Quickly's upgrade takes him from a Sapphire to a Pink Diamond, which is a significant improvement, but his lack of size may limit his impact on the court. Vincent's upgrade takes him from a Ruby to a Diamond, and then to a Pink Diamond, but his inability to dunk and limited defensive abilities make him a less valuable player overall.
